Our Analysis:
Patriot. Mother. Wife. Doctor. Former Arizona state senator. A constitutional conservative who supports an Article V Convention of States. And now candidate to replace the retiring Senator Jeff Flake in the United States Senate.
We are proud to endorse Dr. Kelli Ward in Arizona’s U.S. Senate primary to be held on August 28th, 2018.
On her website (www.kelliward.com), Dr. Ward lists several principles she vows to revere which are the heart of conservatism such as the Constitution, education, gun rights, jobs/economy, healthcare, and immigration.
Dr. Ward strongly supports federalism and limiting the federal government's power, will stand up to those who are infringing on our constitutional right to own guns, will lower taxes to grow our economy, and vows to fully repeal Obamacare.
Speaking of Obamacare, can we finally find some patriots in the U.S. Senate who will repeal this disaster? As a doctor, Dr. Kelli Ward knows firsthand how this monstrosity is destroying our healthcare system and our economy as well. We desperately need conservatives like Dr. Ward to stand with Senators Cruz, Lee, Paul, and others who revere the Constitution and want to preserve our liberty and freedom.
Unlike Sen. Jeff Flake who announced on October 24, 2017 that he will not seek reelection, Dr. Ward will stand up to her Arizona colleague John McCain who once again disgraced his political career by being the final "no" vote on the Obamacare repeal bill in July of 2017. Come January of 2019, with Dr. Ward being sworn into the U.S. Senate, government overreach into our healthcare may finally come to its rightful end.
As we have stated in our mission statement, the end of the road does not conclude with an endorsement and a victory at the ballot box. We, all of you as well, must hold the politician’s feet to the principle fire and hold he or she accountable for what they said to be elected and their actions once sworn into office. We have faith in Kelli Ward that she will hold true to her principles and ideals.
The leadership in the United States Senate needs to change. We cannot keep sending moderates and liberals like Senator Jeff Flake to Washington D.C. and have him or her be a rubber stamp to both the leadership under the tutelage of Mitch McConnell, Orrin Hatch, John McCain, and John Cornyn and their establishment agenda beholden to the Chamber of Commerce and big lobbyists who despise conservatism. Sending another feckless politician chosen by the establishment to Washington for a six year term does nothing to drain the swamp. It only keeps these men firmly in charge and ultimately maintaining their status as the biggest obstacle to fixing the problems we face as nation.
We need new leaders like Dr. Kelli Ward in the United States Senate who will go to Washington D.C., embrace our Constitution, and restore our republic. It is imperative that we do all we can to make sure that happens in 2018.
